Poorly packaged. Even though the lens was in a box inside an outer box, the inner box was ripped open and the lens was loose. There needs to be more padding to restrain the inner box from banging around inside the outer box.

Other lens compared to this. Same settings. Other lens applied heat and did not penetrate. this one quickly digs into steel.
Otherwise, nothing much else to note, besides that it worked great. The threads on the lens are the standard M85. Regardless, both sizes are standard for galvo fiber lasers (unless you buy one of the oddball ones that uses tiny lenses-- which, don't do that, those machines are terrible), so you should be good to go. I saw no flaws or issues with the lens. Cloudray is a pretty well known brand for fiber laser lenses, so no surprise that the quality looks to be on par with their reputation.

This is my 5th fiber laser lens and is a good jack-of-all-trades lens that has a large enough area to handle tumbler artwork, but also has a hot enough beam to do some decent cutting.
What I do know is that this works great on my fiber laser. I have a 70x70mm and a 220x220mm lens and this 140x140mm lens fits great in the middle. It has a big enough working area for many jobs.

Purchased this lens with my machine. I didn't realize it came with a 420mm, so I bought one, so now I have two, plus the 225mm. I use the 225mm far more than the 420 due to it's ability to have a smaller focus size, so more power density. I plan to get an even shorter lens in the future, like a 100-120mm. Very impressed with the level of detail I can get, even when deep etching on stainless steel.

I had issues at first as I was not aware that a lens adapter was required to mount the lens. The one on the supplied 175*175 lens must have been installed by Hercules as I had to remove it by mounting it in a vice to unscrew the lens from it. Other than that no issues, my initial work with the 110*110 are quite encouraging, less power is needed to effect the same depth of engraving and cutting.
