2mm Plywood Cutting Test with EC-60 CO2 Laser

This test used an EC-60 laser with LightBurn software to process 2mm plywood. The goal was to check whether the machine could cut the plywood parts cleanly for a decorative assembled wooden craft.

1. Test Goal

The test was carried out to verify the cutting performance of the EC-60 on 2mm plywood. The required result was a clean cut with usable parts for assembly.

2. Test Requirement

The sample material was 2mm plywood. The process needed to cut the designed wooden parts.

6. Test Conclusion

This plywood cutting test achieved the required result using the EC-60. The result shows that the machine can cut thin plywood parts for decorative assembled wooden craft applications.
This type of result may be useful for wooden gift packaging, seasonal decorations, craft products, model parts, small-batch custom displays, and prototype validation. Before batch production, the final parameter values should be confirmed with the same material, artwork file, lens setup, and marking software.
