I just received this laser today. I've had a fiber laser in the past. I've done 11 engravings so far with a few repeat jobs .
Pros:
it's very well built and looks like a machine worth twice what I paid for.
The repeatability is great and very accurate.
The software is easy enough to use. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out the basics and get going.
It can mark very quickly.
I will update this review after a few months .

I have not yet set up the rotary device as I am still learning Lightburn and all it does with this very nice laser. So far I have done stainless steel and anodized aluminum. Fantastic results with fine details,beyond my expectations. I definitely recommend this brand and model.

I've only had this about a week now, but so far I've really enjoyed it. It has done a good job of engraving everything I've tried it on (various mental ). It works well with Lightburn.
Setup up was about a few minutes affair, but I would recommend going to their website and talking to the customer service staff about the instructions as they can talk to you very patiently.

I've had this laser for just over a week and in that time I've experimented with a range of different materials including leather, metal, acrylic, ceramic, and stone.
I've been extremely impressed by the power, speed and accuracy of the device. Just a few years ago, a laser of this kind at this size and price point would have been inconceivable. I am pretty new to this field and I was happier buying a machine like this rather than a similarly priced kit that I'd need to put together and configure.
I have used the rotary to engrave cups. Using it wasn't as complicated as I had expected and I'm currently on the hunt for more cylindrical things to engrave!
Overall, even though I was apprehensive to spend this kind of money on something I had limited experience and knowledge of, I am really pleased with it. I will return to update my review if I have any more news.

I recommend this unit for anyone that is interested in learning how to use a laser. It was easy to put together. What I like most is all the extras they give you, to be able to test out sample ideas. The stainless steel, business card sized, have me a lot of inspiration. and this machine can also do color marking, I will update more later. very satisfied so far.

I purchased the machine for my son's (21) business and initially had issues with the setup. It turns out that he hadn't turned on the switch. Customer service, was patient and looked at pictures and videos of the machine and helped us to get it working. She even checked up a year later. So far I can say with the utmost certainty is that I feel like this company cares about their products and their customers. The software came in USB flash drive is easy to install and you can ask them for assmbly video, which is helpful for beginners and more advanced users alike!

This is my second laser, my first being a 60w co2 machine. I use that one for cutting and engraving, but this Cloudray machine is my absolute go-to for amazing quality photo engravings!
Once you learn the software and practice a bit it’s amazing what this machine can do. Tons of different settings you can adjust to get different results and it took less than 10 minutes to get set up. Well worth it in my opinion.

The marking area is limited to roughly a 11.8” x 11.8” area, The Laser machine is quick to set up and very easy to begin using with the downloadable app. Fast marking process and have had impressive results with mental and resin projects. The roller is fantastic for etching coated stainless steel tumblers, but I haven’t had great results with cartons. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I've been testing this machine for a few weeks and it's great the price.
It works very fast on anodized aluminum and leaves a solid black mark on stainless steel if you use the z-marking method .
The machine is well calibrated by default, but you can always get more detailed results if you calibrate it yourself. I followed the instructions of an awesome YouTube video.
Costumer service response time is very good, and they were willing to answer all my questions, before and after the purchase, and I did ask a lot of questions.
I feel good about my purchase, if in the future I find any problem I’ll update my review.

We have been using our laser for almost 2 months and are very pleased. All aspects from crating to included accessories were impressive. We were up and running within an hour from uncrating. I am very satisfied with the quality of the marking this laser produces and the speed/ease of setup. We have a machine shop and we use it to laser mark our parts after we machine them. We typically engrave each part with a number for assembly purposes. The cost savings alone vs machining the numbers will pay for the machine. It pretty much marks everything we machine. It will mark anodized aluminum, stainless steels with ease. The software included, called EZ Cad, is surprisingly easy to use and powerful.

Before ordering, I did research on different brands for around 1 month, i asked so many questions, and join in different Facebook groups and laser forums, cloudray is one of three brands I consider learning more about. After talking to 3 different brands, I choose cloudray as their customer service is the most friendly, I am not familiar with a laser machine, wondering which laser I can choose, but they offer me information in detail, helping me to get to know the difference between fiber,uv, and co2, which configurations will be best for my demands. It does come in a large heavy wooden crate so you should be ready with a crowbar to get it out. This will also work with LightBurn . Highly recommend using that software once it’s available.

Happy with the purchase, happy with the progress I've made so far learning how to operate it. Shipping was fast from China to US via UPS, assembly was straight forward. A bit more complicated than my gantry-style CO2 lasers, as there are more parameters to consider, and some of them can be quite sensitive depending on the result being targeted. This model came with a 420mm lens, and I also bought a 225mm that I use far more than the 420mm. I'm planning on also getting another lens, probably around a 120-150mm. I also purchased the Lightburn Galvo software after watching people online use both it and EZCad. Not only is it less expensive than the full version of EZCad, I feel it has more features and usability for my purposes.
The only downside is the steep learning curve compared to a CO2 laser. There are some good videos online, but as a whole, less than what's available for CO2. Even then, someone else's settings on their laser are just a starting point. Plan on lots of experimentation to build your own library of settings for the results you want on the materials you use on the laser you use. But that's not so bad, it's fun to watch the laser do it's thing.

Overall exceeding expectations. I have limited experience with galvo lasers, but lots with CO2. It took a bit of time to get everything dialed in , but I highly recommend LaserEverything.net’s tutorial on the lightburn galvo crash course in YouTube. It help me quickly start to realize the potential this laser has and how precise it really is. Still have lots to learn, but feel this is a great easy to use laser to expand my business opportunities. Up next UV… when TBD, but I know I will be checking out CloudRay again in the future.

Hey guys, this is what I got this morning and I'm very happy with it! I'm very happy with this machine, it achieved what I wanted, thanks to Emily from the official website for the technical support, their home after-sales service is very guaranteed, without their parameter suggestions, I don't think I would have marked such a color to my satisfaction. Ordered and received in 10 days. Small well packed crate with the laser and a small amount of hardware and accessories. Safety glasses were included. Unpacking and setting up the machine only required a couple of hex drivers and screw and a quick installation of the software. Great product and great customer service! We weren’t sure how to use some of the features of the rotary program and cloudray was very helpful in making sure everything was working for us. They even remote accessed our computer to show us how to use the rotary features. The product itself is great and will engrave almost any material from polymer to hard steel.
