I rushed into an 60W MOPA purchase, thinking it was the most affordable and best rated laser out there, and while that was true, I failed to account for all the peripherals I would need such as a proper enclosure, ventilation, air assist etc. When I realized I needed an enclosure, I debated heavily between buying a generic case, making one, or buying this one. Ultimately I got this one .

Easy to set up, very spacious and you can run a rotary inside this unit. I'm not sure if I'd trust the covers to protect my eyes but at first glance it drastically cuts down the amount of visible light in the enclosure.

(Enclosure Review) Installation/building was easy enough. This fits nicely and full leg extension with room to spare. Haven't tried it with the rotary tool, but should do fine. Overall, decent hood for the purpose and it meets my need.

After purchasing an engraver and reading the cautionary notes, I decided to purchse the cover,this cover was easy to install.We were able to get this put together in about 10 minutes.Comes with everything ,it does a great job in protecting our eyes and skin.

My biggest concern when thinking of purchasing a laser was using it indoors and venting. I finally decided to bite the bullet and bought purified and this enclosure. I vent through a stove pipe and chimney. It works so well. I realized how well the smoke was vented when I forgot to turn the fan on, the room filled with smoke when I unzipped the enclosure! I believe it also eliminates the smell very well.
I 1000% recommend this enclosure for indoors cutting and engraving.

Pretty heavy because of the acrylic siding; they are not metal. It's packaged mostly flat with the sides being pre-assembled. Because the L brackets that holds the frame together are on the inside where the acrylic is, it's a lot easier to just disassemble and try to square up everything. Still have some issues with gaps around the door but it shouldn't be too much of a problem with enough negative air pressure from your extraction hose. The accordion way covers are great and are housed in its own metal casing. They attach to the galvo arm with adhesive but you could probably figure out some other way to do it.

I love this enclosure; it cuts down on the dust and smells coming from my engravings. I wear glasses, but the light is still pretty bright because of the reflection of my engravings. I would purchase another again.
