I've ordered this lens several times and it works great. Gone are the days that I need to lose sleep about ruining a $100 lens when I can just buy a few of these and have some as backup. I notice no difference in cut/engraving quality compared with a more expensive lens.

This will be my second lens I've ordered from Cloudray.
So, I'm building a second 100 watt machine now and needed another.
These meniscus lenses are excellent compared to the old PCX lenses I used to use. Much lower aberration and a much finer/sharper focal point that yields superior cuts and etches compared to others I've used. For the price, you simply can't beat them! I will continue to buy from Cloudray, as everything I've ever bought from them has always been good stuff.

I purchased this lens to upgrade the stock lens on my K40. After doing a ramp test and setting the z-bed to the proper focal length, the difference is noticeable.
I was able to produce a beam of about .3mm even with the stock lens, and the Cloudray lens hit that mark as well. What improved greatly, though, was the consistency of beam width and cutting depth across the entire work area.
I can now use the entire workpiece in one run as I no longer experience blurry lines or insufficient cuts in the areas farthest from the home position. I've had a lot less frustration and wasted material since installing this lens.
In my opinion this is definitely a worthwhile purchase!

So far its outlasted the stock lens it replaced. No issues yet. This thing is pretty durable too! My cleaning ritual is probably not the best, but every other day I hit my lens and mirrors with a q-tip and 90% isopropyl alcohol and am surprised that its help up with no scratches etc! It gets 2-6 hours minimum a day of work put on it daily as well.

Bought this to replace the stock lens in my K40 laser in addition to the Si mirrors and have been impressed by the results. I have never heard of the company Cloudray but I decided to take a risk since this lens was a bit cheaper than the alternatives (who similarly had names that I have not seen). If this lens is in fact a CVD ZnSe that is advertised, then the value (i paid 20) is quite good. I definitely have significant improvement in cutting/engraving performance over the stock lens and it has held up well so far.
I'll go ahead and say that this was a good purchase for my situation - the specs say it is good for up to a 200w laser and considering how big a difference I've seen in my performance it would be interesting to see how true that is.
If you're on the fence trying to find a safe lens then I would just go for it - I think most people will be happy with this lens.
