Cleaning instruction

1.Use an air bulb to blow off any loose contaminants. (dust, lint particles)
2. Squeeze a few drops of acetone onto the lens tissue, wetting the complete optic's diameter. (smudges, fingerprints)
3. Using the cotton swab and distilled vinegar, wipe the lens. Immediately use a wet cotton swab to remove any acetic acid, then clean with a clean dry cotton swab. (spittle, oils)

I prefer for the type of work that I do to use the focus length to be 38.1mm as this gives me a very fine line with no burn marks on both sides of the project cutting up to 6mm MDF some with vinyl prints on them. This lens seems to produce less smoke when cutting therefore the cleaning cycle is less. It was easy to give this product a 5-star rating.

Our 150W CO2 laser got knocked out of alignment and before we realized it we had fried the lens. Our machine manufacturer had no lenses in stock so we took a chance and ordered 3 of the meniscus lenses (up to 200W). After re-aligning the machine I installed the new lens and it works beautifully. Our table is a 55"x35" and so far I have not found any cold spots or issues anywhere on the table with this new lens. The price was about 1/3 of what the manufacturer wanted for a new lens so we were delighted with the price and perfomrance. Lenses came quickly and well packaged. We will definitely buy from Cloudray if we need parts in the future.
