UV laser is a very different from CO2 laser and fiber laser. UV laser is also known as blue laser beam, which has the ability to engrave with low heat. The light wave or ultraviolet spectrum of UV laser marking machine is one of the main reasons that this technology can be engraved on different materials. It does not heat the surface of the material like fiber laser and CO2 laser marking machines.

It is suitable for surface treatment such as marking and engraving of high flame-retardant materials, especially suitable for marking and micro-hole drilling of food and pharmaceutical packaging materials, high-speed division of glass materials and complex graphics cutting of silicon wafers...

Applicable:

Surface and internal engravings of glass and crystal products.

Surface marking of metal, plastic, wood, leather, acrylic, nanometer, cloth, ceramics, purple sand, and coating film. (Actual testing is required due to different composition)

Almost all plastic types can be engraved with UV laser, including polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polylactic acid (PLA), polycarbonate (PC), acrylic (PMMA), acetal (polyoxymethylene, POM), nylon (PA), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and other materials.

UV laser marking machines can also engrave and mark metal, but not always with the same results as fiber laser marking machines. Fiber lasers can etch deep and sharp effects on metal surfaces, while UV lasers have problems etching paint-covered metals or highly reflective metals like copper. Metal materials that can be engraved by UV laser technology include aluminum, gold, platinum, silver, titanium, brass, stainless steel, etc.
