New: 100% faster motor system The Odin series laser engraver is with high speed and high resolution motor system imported from Japanese ORIENTAL. The 5-phase open-loop stepper motor for X-axis offers balanced performance enhanced by high torque, low vibration and low noise, it turns out to be high efficiency with 3G acceleration and 80IPS speed, providing a super-fast engraving in the industry. Different from X-axis motor, Y axis motor is a higher resolution type of the same series. This Y-axis motor takes only quarter degree per step than X-axis, with 7 times Accuracy than Nova motor.

New: 100% smoother guide Rail This new guide Rail was new developed by Thunder Laser engineers with patent right. It matches the new Oriental motor system very well. Less resistance and low noise,that’s the most important factor why Odin series could reach 2000mm/s speed.

RF Laser Tube The RF metal lasers are designed to operate without high voltage or water cooling. This makes RF metal lasers inherently safer to operate in almost any environment. RF metal lasers are designed to be durable, provide the highest performance with high laser beam quality, offer indefinite service life, and help assure operator safety. The price is more expensive than DC glass tube, but they have a longer lifespan of up to approximately 10,000hours.

New: Upper & Lower Vent New feature for Odin series with Upper and Lower exhaust ventilations design, to remove the heated and burned smoke from the material surface timely while engraving and cutting.

Dual Air-Assist System Accurate control of your air assist for cutting and engraving. High and low air pressures allow for cleaner result. Controlled by the smart board, there are 2 modes for Thunder Laser machine’s air assist feature. Usually we set Low volumn air for engrave and High volumn air for cut on the design drawing layer on laser software, so as to get cleaner results on both engraving and cutting process. This also works on Lightburn software. For cutting, just toggle air assist ON; for engraving, toggle air assist OFF and it will activate the low air stage. Air assist is an important feature to lower the risk of meterials’ catching fire when being heated by laser. Also air assist prevents the lens from the smoke and dust generated during laser processing on materials. Neither the Low volume air or high volumn air will be activated until the laser starts. So this proprietary Dual air function also helps on energy conservation and noise

New: Eightfold Open-flap protection 8 x Open-cover protection sensor switches were installed on four covers, there are 2pcs in the back of the machine where to install the laser source, 2pcs in the left cover of the machine, 2pcs in the front cover, and 2pcs on the top cover.  Dual Open-cover protection for each cover is the standard for CE certification and FDA requirement. It makes sure the whole machine is safe enough for operator. Should any of the sensors fail, the protection would still work.  To make the machine maintenance easier, our engineers developed a patent circuit board to detect those sensors’ working state, and there is one button to switch to maintenance mode for laser beam aligning.

Q8: Why do I have already over 10 hours mark time on my machine if this is supposed to be a brand new machine?

When our machine is produced, our engineer will check all details of the machine and keep testing the machine for a long time to ensure it can maintain stable working status even lasting for a long time.
