This honeycomb is extremely well made. My old honeycomb was aluminum so I could not use my magnet hold-downs. This one is steel and works great.
Now I need to find a honeycomb that is 550 X 350 that is also steel. If the seller sees this and has that size available I will purchase it.

my machine which is marketed as a 500x300mm can accept a plate 600x350mm which if actually square, would provide the full area to cut as well as provide an area to line up material perfectly square to minimize wasted material.

This was the cheapest option for my laser bed project. I added carriage bolts and nuts to raise the honeycomb above the stock bed for better fume extraction. The honeycomb and frame are magnetic, so I use a variety of magnets to postion, level, raise and hold down stock on the the bed.

This was just what I needed to stop the flashback while using my Laser. We did however have to remove the "frame" around the honeycomb to utilize the entire area. You can do this by drilling out the rivets. Great product!

Works great. Very solid. Here’s a tip to clean it. I spray it down with simple green then let it sit for 5 minutes and hose it down with water.

Works great for my Chinese laser cutter. They do note that the actual useable dimension is less than 300x500 because of the frame. What might not be apparent is that the aluminum frame has a lip, so you really can't get around it. My solution was to drill out the rivets holding the frame on. It works great, and other than having sharp edges is perfectly workable.

I have a larger 100-watt laser and cut a lot of different material on it. One of the things I cut is white paper, and it's hard to keep the residue from other materials from getting on the paper.
This smaller honeycomb table is perfect for my paper work. I just lay it on the factory bed and it's used only for paper.
The fact that the honeycomb is steel instead of aluminum is a huge plus for using magnetic hold downs.

I needed a custom size bed made for my 100 watt 1200x900mm DIY home built laser.
I had previously been using aluminium 2x4 drop ceiling light defuser tiles that where flimsy, warped and in dire need of replacement.
What I really wanted was a true laser bed, so I researched til I found these custom made beds from cloudray laser.
The price was much better than I could find anywhere else for a true galvanized materials bed made specifically for a Co2 laser here in the USA.
The only down side to be noted was that the shipping was as much or slightly more than the actual product, however it did have to be shipped all the way from China to the USA and the over all cost was still reasonable considering it was custom made and of hi quality materials, so it was still well worth it. That being said, it was shipped very quickly and arrived well packaged between a form fitting nailed plywood case, thus it was well protected and undamaged in any way.
The quality is excellent over all, however the edge railing is not perfectly squared which causes the corners not to be a true 90 degrees for use as an accurate inner alignment point as-is. The up side is you can unscrew the railings if necessary and square up the railings with a few shims to achieve a true square alignment.
Over all I am very happy with the bed and highly recommend Cloudray laser!
